Staying in San Francisco

San Francisco has countless, wonderful hotels, both trendy and classic. Finding a good deal on a hotel in this area code is not always so wonderful. Go online and do a little searching. There are frequently discounts on some of the nicer places, if you look on the right site at the right time. That said, the following are nice to try to get into:

The W Hotel: This is always a fun hotel, no matter which city you’re in, and San Francisco is no exception. In fact, XYZ is one of the city’s more popular bars, and Bliss Spa recently opened in the hotel, making it one of the most relaxing places to visit in the downtown area. 181 3rd St, San Francisco, 94103

Hotel Del Sol: This trendy, comfortable little place is hidden away in the Marina district. It’s in a safe, quiet neighborhood, but still close to popular night-life scenes and many of San Francisco’s most famous tourist destinations (the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Lombard St.). The hotel also boasts one of the city’s only pools. It’s rarely hot enough to justify a swim, but if you do happen to be lucky enough to arrive during a heat wave, you’ll be among the very few who get to lounge outside by a pool. 3100 Webster St,

Hotel Vitale: With some of the most stunning views in the city, this is definitely the hotel to stay in. And fortunately, there are plenty of rooms, so getting in shouldn’t be an issue. Sitting right on the bay, and next to the impressive Bay Bridge, you’re biggest problem with the hotel may be dragging yourself away from the window long enough to see the rest of the city. 8 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105
